Getting To Pattaya
There are many ways that you can get to Pattaya quickly, and you may wish to fly there with your family if time is of the essence. U-Tapao airport is 30 km outside of Pattaya and is only a short flight if you are travelling from Bangkok. Alternatively, you can travel by bus, which can take around three hours, depending on the weather and how many times the bus stops, as well as the traffic. You can also hire a taxi or a minivan and have them drive you to Pattaya which will take around two hours to travel the 147 km trip. Pattaya also has a connection to Bangkok via rail, so you can also take a train to the seaside resort and enjoy the countryside as you travel.
