The Saugerties Lighthouse is a historic aid to navigation and a landmark on the Hudson River. Catamount Aerial Adventure Park
Catamount Aerial Adventure Park has nine aerial trails with over 150 challenge components linked by different configurations of cable, wood, and rope to create a one-of-a-kind, exciting, difficult, fun, and rewarding experience in the woods. Put on your helmet and safety harness and go out into the woods to explore the world amidst the trees.
Hudson Highlands State Park
Throughout the park, there are many activities to keep you occupied for the whole day. At over 8,000 acres, the Hudson Highlands State Park Preserve has over 70 miles of multi-use trails. In this case, the Park Preserve, located 50 miles north of New York City, provides a mosaic of unique habitats for various plants and animals, starting from the coast of the Hudson River, through young deciduous woodland, to the rocky peaks and summits that tower over the surrounding region. This gorgeous location provides scenic views of the Hudson River and the Hudson Highlands. The trail network in the park has paths that range from simple to difficult.
Cohoes Falls and Fall Views Park
This is a natural wonderland with four acres of waterfalls, rivers, and walking paths. It is a beautiful place to spend an hour or two taking in the scenery. With your family, you may enjoy a picnic or a fishing excursion in this area. The walking trail goes to a lovely viewing spot that has been attractively landscaped. There is a fantastic family activity that everyone will enjoy.
Visit Croton Gorge Park
Croton Gorge Park is located at the foot of the Croton Dam, and it provides amazing views of the dam and spillway. In this park, you can go fishing, picnicking, and hiking. The waterfall in the park is large, gorgeous, and audible. In the vicinity of the waterfall, there are a few picnic tables in an excellent location. The top of the dam may be reached by parking your vehicle in a nearby lot or climbing up the trail that leads to it from the park itself.
Shawangunk Ridge & Mohonk Preserve
On foot, you may explore magnificent cliffs, woods, meadows, streams, and views along the 70 miles of carriage roads and trails in the area. This nature preserve, which was established to protect the Shawangunk Mountains, includes a visitor center that provides information about biking, hiking, and climbing trails in the surrounding area.
Joseph L. Bruno Stadium
The stadium includes seats for 4,500 spectators, a cafe, and a giant video/scoreboard so that even those in the far back can see and be a part of the excitement. Each night offers visitors a unique and unforgettable experience that they may share with their friends, family, and coworkers.
